My Hero Academia
My Hero Academia is a manga and anime created by Kohei Horikoshi. The first manga was published in 2017 and the series is still being released regularly. The anime series has six seasons so far and will continue to adapt the manga narrative until its completion.
The plot revolves around Izuku Midoriya who lives in a superhuman society and who dreams of becoming a hero one day. His dream to enroll at UA, a school for upcoming heroes, is granted to him and throughout his high school career he is met with obstacles which make his powers and character grow. The story is a beautiful narrative about growing up, making lifelong friends and fighting for the good in the world.
Personal Connection
I discovered the My Hero Academia anime series at the end of 2020 and fell instantly in love with it. Its characters keep bringing joy into my life and my artistic career on Instagram would be nothing without them. Even if I do not create My Hero Academia content on a regular basis anymore since I belong to numerous other fandoms, the MHA fandom is one which stays with me for life and for which I will always come back to to draw more awesome fanart! My Kirishima and Bakugou cosplays are ready to go but I have yet to display them at a convention.
